Paulami Chatterjee is a second year student in the Department of Economics , Jadavpur University. She has done her schooling from Delhi Public School, Megacity and South Point High School. An avid reader since childhood she started writing poems from a very young age and believes in poetry as an expression of self. Today her two poems are published. 1 : RIPOSTE If the world were to end today And I asked you to choose a time, When the sky could fall, What would you choose? Dusk or dawn? If you chose dusk, What would you do with all the love You gathered throughout the day. In bits in pieces? If you chose dawn What would you do with the love Leftover From yesterday? What if I told you That the world was at war And everybody needed love That all the leftovers from yesterday And all the love of today Would not be enough To end all the wars in all the world.
